After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Karim Gallaire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hiltingbury AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Gallaire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noureddine Amrouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustapha Baltadji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jahid Aïssaoui having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Abdul Ulansi put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hiltingbury AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Crookes United. Moïse Makkeb stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jahid Aïssaoui. 0-1. Mustapha Baltadji struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jahid Aïssaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crookes United. Mustapha Baltadji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jahid Aïssaoui having to interfere. Hiltingbury AFC's Jahid Aïssaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhakim El Karimi in the 21st minute of play. When Abdelhakim El Karimi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jahid Aïssaoui was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Smaïn Choaïb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Noureddine Amrouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhakim El Karimi took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jahid Aïssaoui. Jahid Aïssaoui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Hiltingbury AFC's zone, Abdelhakim El Karimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jahid Aïssaoui came out of the goal and Abdelhakim El Karimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jahid Aïssaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustapha Baltadji, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Baltadji in the 47th minute of play forced Hiltingbury AFC's goalkeeper Jahid Aïssaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Crookes United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abdelhakim El Karimi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 59th playminute. During the 62nd minute of the match Chih Amirèche completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chih Amirèche a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 63 played minutes Crookes United got a freekick which was hit by Chih Amirèche. When Hiltingbury AFC's Smaïn Choaïb in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crookes United's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Crookes United's zone, Smaïn Choaïb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Amrouni came out of the goal and Smaïn Choaïb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhakim El Karimi in the 73rd minute of play forced Hiltingbury AFC's goalkeeper Jahid Aïssaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ishak Barbarossa's late challenge caught a Crookes United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ishak Barbarossa helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Hiltingbury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ishak Barbarossa. Abdelhakim El Karimi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Jahid Aïssaoui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Smaïn Choaïb put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Noureddine Amrouni. Smaïn Choaïb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Amrouni having to interfere. Ishak Barbarossa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Abdelhakim El Karimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hiltingbury AFC's Mounaim Zerari got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Crookes United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
