Cherif Boumedienne ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Assad Aïn Madhi in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zahid Rezzoug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th match minute, Birmingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nordine Abdelghani to maneuver through the defense. When Fowey AFC's Assad Aïn Madhi in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rabia Ramdani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zahid Rezzoug having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Fowey AFC's goalkeeper Rabie Djenoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cherif Boumedienne. After a defensive mix-up in Fowey AFC's zone, Abdelmadjid Zakaria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabie Djenoui came out of the goal and Abdelmadjid Zakaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fowey AFC's Rabie Djenoui got control of the ball when Cherif Boumedienne tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rabia Ramdani in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zahid Rezzoug saved Birmingham from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Birmingham's goal looked a bit too open when Rabia Ramdani came free, but Zahid Rezzoug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rabia Ramdani struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Zahid Rezzoug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fowey AFC. In the 42nd minute, Fowey AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdelmadjid Zakaria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th minute, Abdelmadjid Zakaria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rabie Djenoui. The goal made the score 1-0. The wind increased when Assad Aïn Madhi made the kick off in the second half. Cherif Boumedienne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cherif Boumedienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabie Djenoui having to interfere. Rabia Ramdani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zahid Rezzoug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Assad Aïn Madhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rabia Ramdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zahid Rezzoug having to interfere. If Abdelmadjid Zakaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zahid Rezzoug was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Fowey AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Birmingham from taking control.
