Yunes Kouidri charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yunes Kouidri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Kirkby got a freekick which was hit by Reda Lagab. Hocine Boumedienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Bedroni having to interfere. Ayache Benhabiles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Shireoaks City's goalkeeper Tayeb Bedroni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hocine Boumedienne. Kirkby's Fadel Malek got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shireoaks City's Tayeb Bedroni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Shireoaks City from getting a goal against them. Ahaszzi Achiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jahid Belkheir having to interfere. Ayache Benhabiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kirkby's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayache Benhabiles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayeb Bedroni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Kirkby supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kirkby would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
