After the first half Penryn City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The long shot by Florian Hamid in the 57th minute really tested Said El Kebir's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mahieddine Kelkal got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Said El Kebir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Redha Haddou in the 65th minute. Redha Haddou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said El Kebir having to interfere. Said El Kebir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilal Sakrani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miloud Zaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Beaufort having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Penryn City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
