Abdelghafour Khelfellah started the match with the kick off. Wellington's Cheb Rahmani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelghafour Khelfellah in the 3rd minute of play. If Abdelghafour Khelfellah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington's Cheb Rahmani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelghafour Khelfellah in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Redouane Hamyane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Rahmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington's Cheb Rahmani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Redouane Hamyane in the 20th minute of play. Abdelghafour Khelfellah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cheb Rahmani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelghafour Khelfellah in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheb Rahmani saved Wellington from getting behind. Wellington's Cheb Rahmani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelghafour Khelfellah in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Wellington getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alsan Bedroni hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Wellington's Mounaim Nasro threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohand Aflelou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Hoddesdon AFC's zone, Mohand Aflelou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mounaim Nasro came out of the goal and Mohand Aflelou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wellington getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Khalida Yachir hit a great ball. Cheb Rahmani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelghafour Khelfellah in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohand Aflelou was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Hoddesdon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohand Aflelou came free, but Mounaim Nasro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lakhdar Arif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mounaim Nasro having to interfere. Mounaim Nasro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Arif in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute Haider Belkhadem suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Hameur Mazari fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoddesdon AFC's protests and gave Hameur Mazari a yellow card for diving instead. Hameur Mazari kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Redouane Hamyane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Rahmani having to interfere. Abdelghafour Khelfellah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mounaim Nasro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Arif in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Wellington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alsan Bedroni to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Hoddesdon AFC's Fadel Ghanem broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wellington's zone, Redouane Hamyane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheb Rahmani came out of the goal and Redouane Hamyane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Hameur Mazari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoddesdon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hameur Mazari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdelghafour Khelfellah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hoddesdon AFC had controlled the match.
