When Mostafa Harkati fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Hocine Djenoui charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Makkeb to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salah Cohen got free with Abdellatif Amri in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 minutes, Kamel Ouadah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haworth and the Bideford players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Haworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Ouadah to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Buba Cixous managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bideford's supporters rose to their feet, but Buba Cixous was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdellatif Amri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Haworth's zone, Buba Cixous stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdellatif Amri came out of the goal and Buba Cixous tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bideford's Salah Cohen got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salah Cohen struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Abdellatif Amri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bideford. If Buba Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
