After the first half Farnsfield were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aziz Harkati in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Khodri saved Rugby AFC from getting behind. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farnsfield's goalkeeper Chamseddine Oussar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Ataïlyya in the 66th minute of play forced Farnsfield's goalkeeper Chamseddine Oussar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Salem Arrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, one of Rugby AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jussef Arouaba shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Tayeb Khodri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Harkati, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Chamseddine Oussar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Ataïlyya in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Rugby AFC's goalkeeper Tayeb Khodri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salem Arrache.
