Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Afdal Raïs made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Newbold Verdon's goalkeeper Bilal Kharroubi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nasser Morceli. Rugeley United's Nasser Morceli got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nasser Morcelis short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Bilal Kharroubi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zoheir Radjef's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Said Sahraoui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. If Afdal Raïs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Rugeley United's goal looked a bit too open when Zoheir Radjef came free, but Said Sahraoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bilal Kharroubi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afdal Raïs, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A long shot from Boualem Allahoum in the 23rd minute of play was well struck, but Bilal Kharroubi made a really good save at the right post. Afdal Raïs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bilal Kharroubi made a huge save. Abdallah Khodri hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Said Sahraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoheir Radjef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Newbold Verdon's Ziane Ounissi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zoheir Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ziane Ounissi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Ziane Ounissi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rugeley United's Said Sahraoui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adal Ali during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Rugeley United's zone, Zoheir Radjef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Said Sahraoui came out of the goal and Zoheir Radjef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nasser Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bilal Kharroubi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelmalek Hamdani took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bilal Kharroubi. Bilal Kharroubi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nasser Morceli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Afdal Raïs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdallah Khodri kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nasser Morceli's late challenge caught a Newbold Verdon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nasser Morceli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Nasser Morceli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rugeley United's Said Sahraoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Rugeley United from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Zoheir Radjef notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rugeley United's Said Sahraoui. Said Sahraoui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rugeley United had won after a very even match.
