The referee showed Djallil Amrouni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Southampton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djallil Amrouni to maneuver through the defense. Southampton FC's Zoheir Oudin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafs Djachem in the 21st minute of play. Djillali Said's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fateh Hamani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Berkwan Merbah struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Zoheir Oudin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorking FC. After a rather tough play, Southampton FC's Issan Kadri got a free kick in the 30th minute. Berkwan Merbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zoheir Oudin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hafs Djachem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoheir Oudin having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Southampton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djallil Amrouni to maneuver through the defense.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarik Cherrad during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dorking FC booed when Southampton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarik Cherrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berkwan Merbah in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoheir Oudin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Issan Kadri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fateh Hamani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Djillali Said shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fateh Hamani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Southampton FC's goalkeeper Zoheir Oudin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hafs Djachem. Fateh Hamani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Sakrani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play, Southampton FC's Karim Sakrani made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fateh Hamani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zoheir Oudin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafs Djachem in the 81st minute. The supporters of Southampton FC booed when Dorking FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gebril Benchenaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Djillali Said in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fateh Hamani saved Dorking FC from getting behind. Tarik Cherrad kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hafs Djachem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Zoheir Oudin managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Dorking FC's Hafs Djachem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dorking FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
