Haider Hamdoud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Khaled Arif could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Madhil Iles made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Karim Khorci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khaled Arif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Tayeb Kazi-Tani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Madhil Iles. Tayeb Kazi-Tani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 35th match minute, Ellesmere Port was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Khorci to maneuver through the defense. Salaheddine Camus, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Haider Hamdoud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sofiane Moussa went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute Rami Djaghloul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haider Hamdoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Tayeb Kazi-Tani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ellesmere Port's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tayeb Kazi-Tani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Redruth's Kamel Rebbab got a free kick in the 45th minute. Khaled Arif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rami Djaghloul made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Redruth's zone, Khaled Arif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madhil Iles came out of the goal and Khaled Arif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tayeb Kazi-Tani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rami Djaghloul in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haider Hamdoud saved Ellesmere Port from getting behind. Rami Djaghloul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haider Hamdoud having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Redruth got a freekick which was hit by Salaheddine Camus. If Khaled Arif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Sofiane Moussa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redruth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 79 minutes, Kamel Rebbab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redruth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamel Rebbab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haider Hamdoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rami Djaghloul in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Redruth:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ellesmere Port:s goal. If Sofiane Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Rami Djaghloul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redruth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rami Djaghloul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haider Hamdoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rami Djaghloul in the 94th minute of play. Redruth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
