After a rather tough play, Brockenhurst's Hocine Hamdani got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Brockenhurst's Abdelbassir Matmour made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lamine Maghili was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Abdelbassir Matmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brockenhurst's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelbassir Matmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamine Maghili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Brockenhurst's Malik Asma got control of the ball when Tahar Aggoune tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Hocine Hamdani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Brockenhurst's Affi Mazi got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tahar Aggoune received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Malik Asma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abdelbassir Matmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Besseghir in the 36th minute of play forced Radcliffe's goalkeeper Lamine Maghili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Tahar Aggoune put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Malik Asma. Lamine Maghili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Matmour in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sahrane Belkhadem made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd play minute Abdelbassir Matmour came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lamine Maghili. 1-2. Abdelbassir Matmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamine Maghili having to interfere. Lamine Maghili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamel Besseghir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Radcliffe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofiane Abdelghani to maneuver through the defense. Lamine Maghili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Besseghir in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Radcliffe's zone, Abdelbassir Matmour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamine Maghili came out of the goal and Abdelbassir Matmour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelbassir Matmour scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lamine Maghili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sahrane Belkhadem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Asma having to interfere. Seddik Fellahi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malik Asma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Radcliffe's Lamine Maghili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Besseghir in the 92nd minute of play. Brockenhurst were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Radcliffe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Medjadi Naït Mazi took the corner. When the match was over Brockenhurst could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Radcliffe throughout the match.
