Amzar Larfaoui might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramzy Ihidjaten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amzar Larfaoui ran back to his position shaking his head. Tedj Horr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ajdir Jeanson in the 12th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Pirroni-cum-Moze City's Ajdir Jeanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tedj Horr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Newfel Mami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amzar Larfaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzy Ihidjaten having to interfere. If Amzar Larfaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Newfel Mami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ramzy Ihidjaten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Newfel Mami fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colchester's protests and gave Newfel Mami a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, Colchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Newfel Mami to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amzar Larfaoui to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Newfel Mami got free with Ramzy Ihidjaten in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Amzar Larfaoui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramzy Ihidjaten. Amzar Larfaoui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Mahfoud Zemmamouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match Mokdad Kerfali shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tedj Horr showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Hicham Kouici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Colchester's zone, Ajdir Jeanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tedj Horr came out of the goal and Ajdir Jeanson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pirroni-cum-Moze City's Mahfoud Zemmamouche got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tedj Horr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boubakeur Bendali went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Boubakeur Bendali's late challenge caught a Colchester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boubakeur Bendali helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Pirroni-cum-Moze City's zone, Newfel Mami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramzy Ihidjaten came out of the goal and Newfel Mami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Colchester's goal looked a bit too open when Ajdir Jeanson came free, but Tedj Horr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Newfel Mami got free with Ramzy Ihidjaten in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amzar Larfaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ramzy Ihidjaten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lamine Saâdi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Pirroni-cum-Moze City's Ramzy Ihidjaten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Pirroni-cum-Moze City from getting a goal against them. The Colchester supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colchester would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
