A very good chance. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porthcurno's goalkeeper Alsan Mekloufi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ainsdale City's zone, Abid Khaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Guerroum came out of the goal and Abid Khaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raouf Belloumi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Ales Kafi mouthed his way into the referee's book. With a left leg Sabri Guerroum saved Ainsdale City from getting behind. Said Ziri charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Said Ziri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Raouf Belloumi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Porthcurno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raouf Belloumi couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raouf Belloumi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Islam Allahoum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alsan Mekloufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Sabri Guerroum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abid Khaldi in the 97th minute.
