Watford's Sabri El Hadi got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Watford booed when Potters Bar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Assad Yataghen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sabri El Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azziz Semghouni didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Watford's Sabri El Hadi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bouabdellah Kourichi in the 32nd minute of play forced Watford's goalkeeper Redouane Benyagoub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Assad Yataghen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabri El Hadi was the one to do the kick off. Bouabdellah Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bouabdellah Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Redouane Benyagoub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bouabdellah Kourichi's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The supporters of Watford booed when Potters Bar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Smaïn Zerari didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Buba Chadl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Azziz Semghouni skillfully saved the ball. Azziz Semghouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabri El Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Potters Bar booed when Watford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djallel Dahmane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghazi Merzekane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Redouane Benyagoub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Azziz Semghouni came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Watford's Sabri El Hadi. But to his dismay, Sabri El Hadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Potters Bar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
