Achik Zeghdoud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kheireddine Kherchi having to make a save. After 12 minutes, Nabil Beloufa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirkby in Ashfield and the Ealing AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ealing AFC booed when Kirkby in Ashfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nabil Beloufa didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Kirkby in Ashfield's Aydril Djamel in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirkby in Ashfield's goalkeeper Zoheir Halouadji, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Kirkby in Ashfield's Nabil Beloufa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Aydril Djamel struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kheireddine Kherchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirkby in Ashfield. After 58 played minutes Ealing AFC got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Zaâmoum. In the 61st minute, Bahnini Ahmed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Kirkby in Ashfield's goal looked a bit too open when Yamine Bedroni came free, but Zoheir Halouadji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achik Zeghdoud in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kheireddine Kherchi saved Ealing AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barsa Guessoum got free with Kheireddine Kherchi in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Ealing AFC's Yamine Bedroni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoheir Halouadji narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game Bahnini Ahmed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kirkby in Ashfield's Zoheir Halouadji was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ealing AFC's goalkeeper Kheireddine Kherchi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barsa Guessoum. During the 90th minute of the match Faouzi Zaâmoum completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Faouzi Zaâmoum a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st minute, Faouzi Zaâmoum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Yamine Bedroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kirkby in Ashfield players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
