Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Razi Abdessalam started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Amine Ihidjaten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lamine Benmabrouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilian Saïdi-Sief in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Badreddine Ghennouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Youssef Bouchemla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Maidstone United booed when Potters Bar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Younes Hadjadj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Maidstone United got a freekick which was hit by Labib Brahimi. The audience was convinced that Razi Abdessalam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelkader Benzaghou was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Razi Abdessalam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Potters Bar's Youssef Bouchemla got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Massoud Abid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamine Benmabrouk having to interfere. Massoud Abid scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lamine Benmabrouk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Massoud Abid to make the kick off. Adrir Tobbal kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Abdelkader Benzaghou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Razi Abdessalam, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massoud Abid in the 76th minute of play forced Potters Bar's goalkeeper Lamine Benmabrouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youssef Bouchemla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Abdelkader Benzaghou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fouhad Belloumi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potters Bar's protests and gave Fouhad Belloumi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Potters Bar getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fouhad Belloumi hit a great ball. Ilian Saïdi-Sief recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Potters Bar's zone, Massoud Abid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamine Benmabrouk came out of the goal and Massoud Abid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maidstone United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
