The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abderrahim Seghiri during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yunes Semghoun to make the kick off. In the 80th minute, Nahil Saci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yunes Semghoun in the 81st minute of play forced Gainsborough AFC's goalkeeper Abdelmoumène Belkhadem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wroxham FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gainsborough AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Wroxham FC had controlled the match.
