Dingley's Mimoun Lamine Kab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Semghoun in the 37th minute of play. Chadli Bougherra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mimoun Lamine Kab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match Boumedienne Chaouche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mimoun Lamine Kab skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Steeple Claydon booed when Dingley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madjer Belmellat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Dingley and the Steeple Claydon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sofyane El Ibrahimi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
