In the 19th minute, Nacer Liegeon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamid Semghoun got free with Kheireddine Benzaghou in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hamid Semghoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steeple Claydon's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Semghoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kheireddine Benzaghou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sahrane Gourion during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Steeple Claydon booed when Penryn City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sahrane Gourion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kheireddine Benzaghou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chadli Bougherra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Chadli Bougherra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd match minute, Penryn City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chokri Zaâmoucha to maneuver through the defense. Chadli Bougherra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kheireddine Benzaghou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Chadli Bougherra made the kick off in the second half. Ramdane Belhocine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frawsen Chaib having to make a save. Nacer Liegeon succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Chadli Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kheireddine Benzaghou having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Ilian Difallah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steeple Claydon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penryn City the free kick. In the 64th minute, Ilian Difallah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chokri Zaâmoucha, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nacer Liegeon struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Frawsen Chaib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penryn City. Steeple Claydon's Frawsen Chaib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacer Liegeon in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Steeple Claydon booed when Penryn City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sahrane Gourion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chadli Bougherra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sahrane Gourion hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Frawsen Chaib didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nacer Liegeon went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute Chadli Bougherra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kheireddine Benzaghou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Penryn City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
