Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rostom Zerari started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Newton Abbot booed when Dingley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madjer Belmellat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salim Hadjadj took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boumedienne Kouidri. Boumedienne Kouidri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Nadir Fetani took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Boumedienne Kouidri to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Dingley getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mourad Hamani hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes, Dingley's Moncef Gallaire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boumedienne Kouidri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dingley reached it. Mimoun Lamine Kab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehdi Belmadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Newton Abbot's Rostom Zerari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mimoun Lamine Kab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Newton Abbot's Adan Brahami got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 38 minutes of play, Newton Abbot's Adan Brahami made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mimoun Lamine Kab was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adan Brahami might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mimoun Lamine Kab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Brahami ran back to his position shaking his head. Mimoun Lamine Kab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostom Zerari in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nadir Fetani made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Mehdi Belmadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mimoun Lamine Kab. Dingley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehdi Belmadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Mehdi Belmadi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Mimoun Lamine Kab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newton Abbot. Mehdi Belmadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rostom Zerari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mimoun Lamine Kab having to make a save. Newton Abbot's Boumedienne Kouidri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salim Hadjadj in the 67th minute of play. Mehdi Belmadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mimoun Lamine Kab made a huge save. Mimoun Lamine Kab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rostom Zerari, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Mehdi Belmadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newton Abbot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehdi Belmadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mehdi Belmadi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Newton Abbot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Belmadi couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Rostom Zerari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dassi Ioualalen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
