Balwa Sakhri hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Badda Boutabout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amad Oulhaci in the 6th minute of the match. Amad Oulhaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Badda Boutabout having to make a save. Mansour Radjef's late challenge caught a Long Lawford AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mansour Radjef helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Mansour Radjef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Badda Boutabout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amad Oulhaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Kader Chebli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Badda Boutabout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amad Oulhaci might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Badda Boutabout. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amad Oulhaci ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kader Chebli in the 27th minute of play forced Long Lawford AFC's goalkeeper Badda Boutabout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Avebury's goal looked a bit too open when Belkheir Fochtali came free, but Aras Debbagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Avebury's Houssem Bestandji got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute, Amad Oulhaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avebury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Kader Chebli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Badda Boutabout was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Avebury booed when Long Lawford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziane Toumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belkheir Fochtali made a kick off. Long Lawford AFC's Badda Boutabout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kader Chebli in the 62nd minute of play. Kader Chebli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Avebury's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 69 played minutes Avebury got a freekick which was hit by Tedj Embarek. In the 70th minute, Belkheir Fochtali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aras Debbagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belkheir Fochtali in the 72nd minute of play. The Long Lawford AFC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Long Lawford AFC's Belkheir Fochtali looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kader Chebli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 86th minute Belkheir Fochtali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Debbagh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Lawford AFC's Badda Boutabout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Long Lawford AFC from getting a goal against them. Badda Boutabout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kader Chebli in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Long Lawford AFC had won after a very even match.
