After having played for 4 minutes, Belkheir Fochtali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Lawford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belkheir Fochtali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Belkheir Fochtali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheb Fellahi during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Long Lawford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Fellahi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, Long Lawford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Fellahi to maneuver through the defense. Sowerby Bridge's Hocine Kourichi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Badda Boutabout in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Okacha Ammour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Badda Boutabout having to interfere. If Yazid Khadra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yazid Khadra in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Badda Boutabout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Okacha Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Badda Boutabout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Khadra in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Khadra in the 39th minute of play forced Long Lawford AFC's goalkeeper Badda Boutabout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Okacha Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sowerby Bridge's Okacha Ammour got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Okacha Ammour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Long Lawford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mokdad Ihidjaten. After a defensive mix-up in Long Lawford AFC's zone, Hocine Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Badda Boutabout came out of the goal and Hocine Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Okacha Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Ziane Toumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zidan Douadi came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sowerby Bridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zidan Douadi couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Belkheir Fochtali notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sowerby Bridge's Ahmis Zaghouane. Ahmis Zaghouane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zidan Douadi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ahmis Zaghouane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belkheir Fochtali's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ishak Arif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ahmis Zaghouane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okacha Ammour in the 83rd minute of play forced Long Lawford AFC's goalkeeper Badda Boutabout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Khadra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Belkheir Fochtali made a precise shot to the right of Ahmis Zaghouane. Sowerby Bridge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Yazid Khadra struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Badda Boutabout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sowerby Bridge. Cheb Fellahi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Badda Boutabout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okacha Ammour in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Long Lawford AFC's Cheb Fellahi got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sowerby Bridge players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Long Lawford AFC.
