A hard shot 12 in the game by Jussef Chebal from a close distance when the talented Barsa Guessoum managed to make a qualified save. Horbury's players were relieved. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horbury's goalkeeper Barsa Guessoum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bouabdellah Ahmed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youssef Zian in the 19th minute of the match. Said Ali kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youssef Zian in the 23rd minute of play forced Crystal Palace's goalkeeper Bouabdellah Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Horbury's zone, Jussef Chebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barsa Guessoum came out of the goal and Jussef Chebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Jussef Chebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hemza Merdaci kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Hemza Merdaci was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Horbury getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hemza Merdaci hit a great ball. Barsa Guessoum was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reda Fadhil. Bouabdellah Ahmed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rachid Soltani went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Crystal Palace players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Horbury were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rachid Soltani to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Crystal Palace booed when Horbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youssef Zian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crystal Palace's Reda Fadhil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Horbury. Barsa Guessoum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jussef Chebal's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Rachid Soltani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouabdellah Ahmed having to interfere. If Jussef Chebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jussef Chebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barsa Guessoum was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Youssef Zian's late challenge caught a Crystal Palace's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Youssef Zian helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Horbury got a freekick which was hit by Youssef Zian. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jussef Chebal in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barsa Guessoum saved Horbury from getting behind. Rachid Soltani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bouabdellah Ahmed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Crystal Palace's zone, Rachid Soltani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bouabdellah Ahmed came out of the goal and Rachid Soltani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rachid Soltani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bouabdellah Ahmed firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Horbury booed when Crystal Palace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chams Tellidji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Soltani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Horbury's zone, Fayçal Merniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barsa Guessoum came out of the goal and Fayçal Merniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Jussef Chebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Said Ali hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Crystal Palace supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Horbury's performance. The match ended with a win for Horbury.
