After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Moussa Allam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brierley Hill AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moussa Allam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idriss Salhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Idriss Salhi came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Brierley Hill AFC's Affi Khelfellah. But to his dismay, Affi Khelfellah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bouzid Douibi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Moussa Allam made a precise shot to the right of Idriss Salhi. Great Lumley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Idriss Salhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moussa Allam, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Abdelbassir Mouzaoui hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Bouzid Douibi sped through Brierley Hill AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zoheir Benaouf. Great Lumley's Idriss Salhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moussa Allam in the 42nd minute of play. Bouzid Douibi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Zoheir Benaouf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bouzid Douibi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoheir Benaouf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moussa Allam to strike the kick off in the second half. Zoheir Benaouf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamid Bedrina went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Bouzid Douibi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zoheir Benaouf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Lumley. In the 72nd match minute, Brierley Hill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azhar Kerfali to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Ahaszzi El Ouazzani sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brierley Hill AFC's Zoheir Benaouf didn't even have to move. Moussa Allam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Youssef Dziri charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Youssef Dziri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Moussa Allam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Boudjemaa Boulmerka fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Lumley's protests and gave Boudjemaa Boulmerka a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brierley Hill AFC booed when Great Lumley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boudjemaa Boulmerka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Affi Khelfellah received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Idriss Salhi came out and tried to block the shot, but Affi Khelfellah slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 89th minute. Brierley Hill AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
