Moussa Allam started the match with the kick off. Amine Balaid charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amine Balaid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haywards Heath AFC booed when Brierley Hill AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amine Balaid didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Wellen Sellal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zoheir Benaouf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Moussa Allam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ibrahim Khendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Haywards Heath AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Moussa Allam came free, but Ibrahim Khendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Affi Khelfellah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brierley Hill AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Affi Khelfellah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibrahim Khendu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zoheir Benaouf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohan Zeghdoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Mohan Zeghdoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Haywards Heath AFC's Ibrahim Khendu got control of the ball when Affi Khelfellah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mohan Zeghdoud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoheir Benaouf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Haywards Heath AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anther Madouni. If Affi Khelfellah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ibrahim Khendu managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Brierley Hill AFC's Affi Khelfellah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Abderaouf Larbes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abderaouf Larbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mohan Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderaouf Larbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abderaouf Larbes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Haywards Heath AFC's zone, Moussa Allam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibrahim Khendu came out of the goal and Moussa Allam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zoheir Benaouf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderaouf Larbes in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohan Zeghdoud got free with Zoheir Benaouf in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes of play, Brierley Hill AFC's Moussa Allam made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ibrahim Khendu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haywards Heath AFC's Ibrahim Khendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Affi Khelfellah in the 68th minute of play. Zoheir Benaouf made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mohan Zeghdoud sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Haywards Heath AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Affi Khelfellah came free, but Ibrahim Khendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibrahim Khendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Affi Khelfellah, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haywards Heath AFC's goalkeeper Ibrahim Khendu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Abderaouf Larbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoheir Benaouf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
