Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) Bouzid Douibi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bouzid Douibi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fouad Zaghbib read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, one of Long Eaton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Great Lumley a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahaszzi El Ouazzani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Long Eaton's Fouad Zaghbib. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Idir Mediouna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Eaton's supporters rose to their feet, but Idir Mediouna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idriss Salhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Youcef Metaref scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Idriss Salhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fouad Zaghbib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bouzid Douibi in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, one of Long Eaton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 28 minutes into the match, Long Eaton's goalkeeper Fouad Zaghbib had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamid Bedrina. The supporters of Great Lumley booed when Long Eaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Ouenjelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bouzid Douibi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hafid Rahmani's late challenge caught a Great Lumley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hafid Rahmani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute of the match Ahaszzi El Ouazzani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fouad Zaghbib showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Great Lumley's Hamid Bedrina made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fouad Zaghbib was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hamid Bedrina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Bouzid Douibi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Lumley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bouzid Douibi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamid Bedrina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fouad Zaghbib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youcef Metaref made a kick off. Bouzid Douibi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bouzid Douibi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fouad Zaghbib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Bouzid Douibi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Long Eaton's Fouad Zaghbib was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamid Bedrina struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Fouad Zaghbib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Lumley. After 83 played minutes Long Eaton got a freekick which was hit by Hafid Rahmani. After recieving a nice pass, Great Lumley's Ahaszzi El Ouazzani tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Rahim Zane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Great Lumley's Hamid Bedrina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fouad Zaghbib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Idir Mediouna might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Idriss Salhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Idir Mediouna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th match minute, Great Lumley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa Boulmerka to maneuver through the defense. Youcef Metaref struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Idriss Salhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Eaton. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Great Lumley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Long Eaton had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
