After 24 minutes, Abderaouf Larbes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haywards Heath AFC and the Thrybergh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Abderaouf Larbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Thrybergh's Abdelnacer Benguergoura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ibrahim Khendu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chih Nasri got free with Ibrahim Khendu in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelnacer Benguergoura in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ibrahim Khendu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ibrahim Khendu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chih Nasri in the 41st minute. Mohan Zeghdoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raouf Belbey having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abderaouf Larbes to make the kick off. Abdelkader Merbah charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 64th minute of the match Lounès Mamouni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ibrahim Khendu skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Thrybergh's zone, Mohan Zeghdoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raouf Belbey came out of the goal and Mohan Zeghdoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raouf Belbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yassine Belbey in the 67th minute. Ibrahim Khendu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelnacer Benguergoura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thrybergh's Abdelnacer Benguergoura got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Abderaouf Larbes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, Haywards Heath AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderaouf Larbes to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Fadi Benattia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haywards Heath AFC and the Thrybergh players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thrybergh's Raouf Belbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Thrybergh from getting a goal against them. Anther Madouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raouf Belbey having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Thrybergh fans cheered their team off the field, for while Haywards Heath AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
