Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Haverhill United's Ayachi Larbes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Braunton AFC's goalkeeper Daniel Berradja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lamine Dennane kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ayachi Larbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazhar Zakaria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Abdelhamid Kosbi made a huge save. Haverhill United's Abdelhamid Kosbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Aziz in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Lazhar Zakaria from a close distance when the talented Abdelhamid Kosbi managed to make a qualified save. Haverhill United's players were relieved. Rafik Aziz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Haverhill United's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Kosbi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazhar Zakaria. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazhar Zakaria got free with Abdelhamid Kosbi in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Berradja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayachi Larbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rafik Aziz made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Berradja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayachi Larbes in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Haverhill United's zone, Lazhar Zakaria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelhamid Kosbi came out of the goal and Lazhar Zakaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafik Aziz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Kosbi having to interfere. With a left leg Abdelhamid Kosbi saved Haverhill United from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Bellemou Zian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Berradja. Braunton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bellemou Zian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 78 played minutes Haverhill United got a freekick which was hit by Ziane Fillali. When Lazhar Zakaria came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Braunton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazhar Zakaria couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rafik Aziz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braunton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafik Aziz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelhamid Kosbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braunton AFC's Daniel Berradja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Braunton AFC from getting a goal against them. If Lazhar Zakaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Braunton AFC fully deserved thier win.
