The Farouk Menad was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Azzouz Amri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Amri having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bayna Morceli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nadir Amri was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Bayna Morceli struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nadir Amri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorlton City.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amzar Kholt during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nadir Amri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayna Morceli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Belhadj charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheb Belhadj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bayna Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Bayna Morceli came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Chorlton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bayna Morceli couldn't finish the play. The Chorlton City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Wokingham from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
