The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Falmouth. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 6th minute, where Chorlton City:s Wassim Ghanem tricked Falmouth:s Ilian Khendu with a difficult ball by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Chorlton City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Falmouth:s goal. When Hamdane Boukirat came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Falmouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamdane Boukirat couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute of the match Osmane Zidane shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Farouk Menad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th match minute, Chorlton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayna Morceli to maneuver through the defense. Ilian Khendu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bayna Morceli's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 1-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Hemza Zidane elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Azzad Khodri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falmouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorlton City the free kick. In the 38th minute, Azzouz Amri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ilian Khendu. The goal made the score 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdane Boukirat was the one to do the kick off. Bayna Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilian Khendu having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Chorlton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azzouz Amri to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Falmouth booed when Chorlton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarik Yataghen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wassim Ghanem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilian Khendu. Falmouth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Bayna Morceli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Ilian Khendu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Hemza Zidane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamdane Boukirat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Farouk Menad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Hemza Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falmouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hemza Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chorlton City's Farouk Menad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Chorlton City from getting a goal against them.
