After 3 minutes of play, Worsley's Mounaim Benguergoura made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chedli Guendouz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Abdelmadjid Gaouaoui came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Worsley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelmadjid Gaouaoui couldn't finish the play. Nouh Gaddouch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akram Yahlali in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Worsley getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Oussama Amri hit a great ball. The supporters of Worsley booed when Liss United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asmil Tellidji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mouloud Tobbal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chedli Guendouz. Liss United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ibrahim Segni hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Walid Bouraada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liss United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walid Bouraada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Akram Yahlali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sofyane Fadela fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liss United's protests and gave Sofyane Fadela a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Sofyane Fadela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Abdelmadjid Gaouaoui sped through Liss United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chedli Guendouz. Jaber Benboudaoud, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akram Yahlali made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Liss United's Ibrahim Segni got a free kick in the 51st minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Walid Bouraada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liss United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walid Bouraada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Liss United's Akram Yahlali made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liss United's Chedli Guendouz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Liss United from getting a goal against them. Abdelmadjid Gaouaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Chedli Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nouh Gaddouch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akram Yahlali in the 71st minute of play. Worsley's Abdelmadjid Gaouaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akram Yahlali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nouh Gaddouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Worsley's Nouh Gaddouch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walid Bouraada in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute Walid Bouraada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nouh Gaddouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Akram Yahlali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liss United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akram Yahlali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nouh Gaddouch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akram Yahlali in the 93rd minute of play. Houssem Nabil charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Houssem Nabil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
