Adal Guessoum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afdal Bezzaz's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Afdal Bezzaz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Goole fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afdal Bezzaz couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Afdal Bezzaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adal Guessoum. Dudley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afdal Bezzaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adal Guessoum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakhdar Larbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djallel Mammeri walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Medjadi Brahimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Riad Benhelal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goole's Afdal Bezzaz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lakhdar Larbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adal Guessoum having to interfere. With a little luck, Goole's Riad Benhelal got control of the ball when Hakim Kerrouche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riad Benhelal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medjadi Brahimi in the 31st minute of the match. Hakim Kerrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Riad Benhelal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riad Benhelal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medjadi Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes in the game, Hakim Kerrouche fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Riad Benhelal having to interfere. Hakim Kerrouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakim Kerrouche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Medjadi Brahimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Adal Guessoum came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Goole's Lakhdar Larbes. But to his dismay, Lakhdar Larbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Medjadi Brahimi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Riad Benhelal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Medjadi Brahimi ran back to his position shaking his head. Khalil Belaout charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Khalil Belaout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Goole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khalil Belaout to maneuver through the defense. Hakim Kerrouche struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Riad Benhelal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dudley. 69 minutes into the match, Medjadi Brahimi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Goole's Riad Benhelal. Riad Benhelal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Dudley getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Abdechahid Messaoudi hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Goole's Lakhdar Larbes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adal Guessoum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medjadi Brahimi in the 88th minute of play forced Goole's goalkeeper Riad Benhelal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dudley booed when Goole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalil Belaout didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Dudley got a corner. Goole's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Djallel Mammeri ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Kerrouche in the 99th minute of play forced Goole's goalkeeper Riad Benhelal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dudley supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Goole's performance. The match ended with a win for Goole.
