In the 3rd minute Lili Allahoum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafid Abdelghani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Wanborough United's goalkeeper Nadir Iles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mansour Boufroura. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moïse Soltani in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hafid Abdelghani saved Pontefract from getting behind. The supporters of Pontefract booed when Wanborough United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Losif Guerroum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mansour Boufroura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Iles having to interfere. Nadir Iles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mokhtar Boukhari, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mansour Boufroura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nadir Iles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moïse Soltani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Losif Guerroum struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hafid Abdelghani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wanborough United. Mokhtar Boukhari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moïse Soltani made a kick off. 64 minutes into the match, Pontefract's goal looked a bit too open when Moïse Soltani came free, but Hafid Abdelghani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Moïse Soltani fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hafid Abdelghani, passed just outside the right post. If Mansour Boufroura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontefract's Mokhtar Boukhari got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Losif Guerroum hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Kamel Abdelkrim hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moïse Soltani in the 90th minute of play forced Pontefract's goalkeeper Hafid Abdelghani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Pontefract's goal looked a bit too open when Moïse Soltani came free, but Hafid Abdelghani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pontefract's Bakku Benzine got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Wanborough United's Nadir Iles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mokhtar Boukhari in the 97th minute of play. The Wanborough United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
