Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Fathi Benyoucef made the kick off and thus started the match. When Kacem El Karimi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Knowle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kacem El Karimi couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Anis Zakaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fayçal Matmour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Knowle booed when Winchester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubir Guergour didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Knowle's Abderrazek Tannoudji got a free kick in the 10th minute. Winchester FC's Aydril Khodri got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amellal Kazi's late challenge caught a Winchester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amellal Kazi helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Cherif Menia, was totally fooled by Winchester FC's Mourad Zidane, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zoubir Guergour charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoubir Guergour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fayçal Matmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anis Zakaria in the 23rd minute of the match. Fayçal Matmour came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Knowle's Anis Zakaria. But to his dismay, Anis Zakaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Fathi Benyoucef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fathi Benyoucef in the 33rd minute of play forced Knowle's goalkeeper Cherif Menia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Knowle got a freekick which was hit by Kacem El Karimi. If Abderrazek Tannoudji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anis Zakaria took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fayçal Matmour. Fayçal Matmour dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Knowle were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anis Zakaria made a kick off. A collision led to Winchester FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zoubir Guergour hit a great ball. Fayçal Matmour didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anis Zakaria went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Cherif Menia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aydril Khodri in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Knowle's Abderrazek Tannoudji got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Fathi Benyoucef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Knowle's goal looked a bit too open when Fathi Benyoucef came free, but Cherif Menia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fathi Benyoucef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Menia having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Abderrazek Tannoudji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knowle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winchester FC the free kick. Abderrazek Tannoudji hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Aydril Khodri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Aydril Khodri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydril Khodri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anis Zakaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aydril Khodri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Menia having to interfere. Aydril Khodri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Knowle players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
