An unexpectedly hard shot by Redouane Morceli in the 19th minute of play forced Lancaster FC's goalkeeper Karim Cherrad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Redouane Morceli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Cherrad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Lancaster FC defense, Djillali Kourichi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karim Cherrad. The Lancaster FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Cherrad should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Minehead AFC's Redouane Morceli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karim Cherrad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Karim Cherrad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayan Yataghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Zine-Eddine Embarek fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lancaster FC's protests and gave Zine-Eddine Embarek a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lancaster FC's zone, Djillali Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Cherrad came out of the goal and Djillali Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Djillali Kourichi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Cherrad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelkarim Soltani was the one to do the kick off. When Moussa Brahmia fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lancaster FC's protests and gave Moussa Brahmia a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Djillali Kourichi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 57 played minutes Minehead AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rayan Yataghen. In the 71st minute, Abdelkarim Soltani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Lyes Dhyab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lancaster FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyes Dhyab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aziz Aribi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelkarim Soltani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aziz Aribi having to make a save. Rayan Yataghen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyes Dhyab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djillali Kourichi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Karim Cherrad made a huge save. Minehead AFC's Djillali Kourichi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
