The supporters of Whitstable booed when York AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabia Kazi-Tani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amad Ahmed who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Sofyane El Kounya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Amad Ahmed kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sofyane El Kounya. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Abdelkrim Merzekane hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Sanaa Bencheikh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chawki Mezali having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Sanaa Bencheikh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chawki Mezali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahfoud Akvayli in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Mahfoud Akvayli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chawki Mezali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sanaa Bencheikh to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahfoud Akvayli got free with Chawki Mezali in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the game, York AFC's Mahfoud Akvayli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chawki Mezali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Seddik Harkat kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Sanaa Bencheikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanaa Bencheikh in the 74th minute of play forced Whitstable's goalkeeper Chawki Mezali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asmil Kouici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sofyane El Kounya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to York AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Madhil Meskouri hit a great ball. Sofyane El Kounya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amad Ahmed in the 83rd minute of the match. Whitstable's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Sanaa Bencheikh scored to the left of an out of position Chawki Mezali, making the score, 1-3. 90 minutes into the match, Whitstable's goalkeeper Chawki Mezali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahfoud Akvayli. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Asmil Kouici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitstable's supporters rose to their feet, but Asmil Kouici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofyane El Kounya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Sanaa Bencheikh notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Whitstable's Chawki Mezali. Chawki Mezali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amad Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Whitstable supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching York AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for York AFC.
