Mahfoud Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ayachi having to interfere. Amawal Ramdane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sofyane El Kounya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Eastbourne's goal looked a bit too open when Mahfoud Akvayli came free, but Elias Ayachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madhil Meskouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Sanaa Bencheikh made the kick off in the second half. Mamaar Benbitour kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Rabia Kazi-Tani led 55 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Sofyane El Kounya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastbourne. After a defensive mix-up in York AFC's zone, Hamza Bouteflika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane El Kounya came out of the goal and Hamza Bouteflika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, Amawal Ramdane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sofyane El Kounya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sanaa Bencheikh in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Ayachi saved Eastbourne from getting behind. Sofyane El Kounya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amawal Ramdane, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Sanaa Bencheikh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Elias Ayachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of York AFC booed when Eastbourne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassen El Ouazzani didn't get a good kick on the ball.
