Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) Yate's Tami Benkirat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Yate's Réda Hamyane seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Réda Hamyane the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yate protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Réda Hamyane had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! If Ghani Zouba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Said Medaci fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Cross's protests and gave Said Medaci a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, New Cross's Said Medaci got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Ghiles El Annabi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Yate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ghiles El Annabi couldn't finish the play. Ghani Zouba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Hamid Belkacem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Imad Hemdani kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Imad Hemdani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moïse Sandjak was slow to take the kick. During this time New Cross's players had a chance to rest. Ghiles El Annabi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ghiles El Annabi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yate getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ghiles El Annabi hit a great ball. Fadel Chaouchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelkrim Sadaoui in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute New Cross were awarded a corner. Moïse Sandjak went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on New Cross's corner Moïse Sandjak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fadel Chaouchi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ghani Zouba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hamid Belkacem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Yate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Cross were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdelkrim Sadaoui made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Abdelkrim Sadaoui tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fadel Chaouchi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Imad Hemdani charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Imad Hemdani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Yate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imad Hemdani to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Moïse Sandjak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yate's Fadel Chaouchi didn't even have to move. When Ghani Zouba came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Yate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ghani Zouba couldn't finish the play. Abdelkrim Sadaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ghani Zouba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamid Belkacem having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zahi Bridji in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fadel Chaouchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdelkrim Sadaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match Kacem Matmour shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fadel Chaouchi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Aszar Djeballi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and New Cross's Hamid Belkacem didn't even have to move. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched New Cross eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
