After a defensive mix-up in Rawmarsh's zone, Fouhad Achiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chakib Liegeon came out of the goal and Fouhad Achiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chakib Liegeon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fouhad Achiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fouhad Achiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnham United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fouhad Achiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chakib Liegeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Makhloufi Messayeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chakib Liegeon having to interfere. Chakib Liegeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouhad Achiou in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Safy Assous was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rawmarsh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnham United the free kick. The supporters of Burnham United booed when Rawmarsh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Safy Assous didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelnacer Hansali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Ali, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Malek Mecherara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rawmarsh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malek Mecherara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Malek Mecherara came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Rawmarsh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malek Mecherara couldn't finish the play. If Malek Mecherara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fouhad Achiou was the one to do the kick off. Malek Mecherara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Abdelnacer Hansali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelnacer Hansali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Ali in the 57th minute of the match. Rawmarsh's Chakib Liegeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fouhad Achiou in the 73rd minute of play. Fouhad Achiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdenour Hamdoud kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Burnham United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Abdenour Hamdoud hit a great ball. Abdelnacer Hansali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Ali, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Burnham United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rawmarsh.
