Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) Hassen Zouaoui started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bouzid Rezzag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassen Zouaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Southall's Mekki Merzekane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anis Mhenni in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Sahrane Racim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 minutes, Abdelkader Nasri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cleckheaton and the Southall players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Abdelkader Nasri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Cleckheaton got a freekick which was hit by Moulay El Ouchem. Camel Brahimi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cleckheaton's Yacoub Korteby got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Southall's Camel Brahimi tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anis Mhenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hassen Zouaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Cleckheaton:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Southall:s goal. Camel Brahimi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Anis Mhenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassen Zouaoui in the 46th minute of play forced Cleckheaton's goalkeeper Bouzid Rezzag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anis Mhenni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Omar Megharia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cleckheaton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southall the free kick. Omar Megharia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sahrane Racim scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bouzid Rezzag, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anis Mhenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mekki Merzekane having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Fouhad Hamouda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes, Cleckheaton's Omar Megharia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mekki Merzekane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cleckheaton reached it. Saber Dennane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Southall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahir Abdenouz to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Omar Megharia in the 71st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mekki Merzekane's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Southall's Mohand Benarbia got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Abdelkader Nasri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cleckheaton's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelkader Nasri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mekki Merzekane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mekki Merzekane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anis Mhenni, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Southall players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cleckheaton.
