An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Beaufort in the 5th minute of play forced Ferndown's goalkeeper Arsan Zeghni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Ferndown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hacène Bezzaz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ferndown getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sofiane Mohamed hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Hafs Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelhafid Aounellah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsan Zeghni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhat Laura Douibi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Godmanchester's Abdelhafid Aounellah got control of the ball when Hafs Yahia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferndown's attack was well implemented in the 17th minute, but when Hafs Yahia was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafs Yahia in the 20th minute of play forced Godmanchester's goalkeeper Abdelhafid Aounellah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Godmanchester got a freekick which was hit by Agwama Sad. After 24 played minutes, Ferndown's Zouhir Zaoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdelhafid Aounellah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferndown reached it. If Hafs Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Newfel Al-Jazairia struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Abdelhafid Aounellah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferndown. After a defensive mix-up in Ferndown's zone, Mohamed Beaufort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsan Zeghni came out of the goal and Mohamed Beaufort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ferndown's Hacène Bezzaz got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mohamed Beaufort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsan Zeghni having to interfere. Arsan Zeghni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Laura Douibi in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Godmanchester's Mohamed Beaufort nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsan Zeghni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Mohamed Beaufort came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Godmanchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Beaufort couldn't finish the play. The Ferndown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Godmanchester were winning 0-1.

Ferndown's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mohamed Beaufort 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. 55 minutes into the game, Agwama Sad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godmanchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferndown the free kick. Agwama Sad kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ferhat Laura Douibi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsan Zeghni having to interfere. Arsan Zeghni came out of the goal and Mohamed Beaufort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsan Zeghni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Beaufort in the 72nd minute of the match. Ferhat Laura Douibi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newfel Al-Jazairia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Abdelhafid Aounellah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Sammy Kharroubi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godmanchester's Abdelhafid Aounellah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafs Yahia in the 81st minute of play. When Ferhat Laura Douibi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Godmanchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferhat Laura Douibi couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Godmanchester left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ferndown.
