After a rather tough play, Leigh on Sea AFC's Abbes Fari got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mostafa Medjiba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bellemou Kherroum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Abdelmoumène Kourichi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chokri Boniche was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Amad Dhahhak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bellemou Kherroum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chokri Boniche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walid Draï in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Leigh on Sea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yassine Fari to maneuver through the defense. Amad Dhahhak struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Bellemou Kherroum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Marske. Leigh on Sea AFC's Bellemou Kherroum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mostafa Medjiba in the 21st minute of play. Mostafa Medjiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chokri Boniche acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Admer Choaïb. New Marske's Mostafa Medjiba got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Amad Dhahhak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bellemou Kherroum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, New Marske's Arkam Fadhil made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bellemou Kherroum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mostafa Medjiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amad Dhahhak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amad Dhahhak to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Abdelmoumène Kourichi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Chokri Boniche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amad Dhahhak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Abdelmalek Benali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mostafa Medjiba got free with Bellemou Kherroum in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Abdelmoumène Kourichi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Leigh on Sea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelmoumène Kourichi couldn't finish the play. Chokri Boniche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelmoumène Kourichi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Leigh on Sea AFC's Bellemou Kherroum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amad Dhahhak in the 84th minute of play. Walid Draï received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Chokri Boniche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the New Marske players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leigh on Sea AFC.
