Anter Hansali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atik Mami in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Longwell Green United's Jussef Sellami got a free kick in the 7th minute. Abdel Zaghouanes short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Anter Hansali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Khalida Izghen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faudel Madouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalida Izghen in the 14th minute of play. If Jussef Sellami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodil Zaccari hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Zahir Touhami sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faudel Madouni skillfully saved the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Longwell Green United's goalkeeper Anter Hansali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdel Zaghouane. Atik Mami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Khalida Izghen struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Faudel Madouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longwell Green United. Khalida Izghen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Faudel Madouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salih Nasri hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Longwell Green United's zone, Abdel Zaghouane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anter Hansali came out of the goal and Abdel Zaghouane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdel Zaghouane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bridlington's Atik Mami in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Longwell Green United's goalie prevented a goal. Atik Mami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anter Hansali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Jussef Sellami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute of the match Bridlington got a corner. Longwell Green United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ziad Mazzid ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ziad Mazzid got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anter Hansali quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Issam Lacen during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Bridlington got a freekick which was hit by Issam Lacen. Khalida Izghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faudel Madouni having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Jussef Sellami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faudel Madouni. Bridlington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jussef Sellami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Longwell Green United's Anter Hansali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atik Mami in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Khalida Izghen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atik Mami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anter Hansali having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Longwell Green United got a freekick which was hit by Ferhat Chebal. Anter Hansali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdel Zaghouane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jussef Sellami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Atik Mami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bridlington's zone, Khalida Izghen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faudel Madouni came out of the goal and Khalida Izghen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Longwell Green United played a much better game than Bridlington and deserved their victory. The Bridlington players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
