After having played for 20 minutes, Abdelmoumen Naït Mazi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coombe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelmoumen Naït Mazi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Coombe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djallel Belmadi to maneuver through the defense. Djallel Belmadi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Djamel Kermali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouloud Hasni in the 38th minute of play. Coombe FC's Djamel Kermali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Hasni in the 39th minute of play. Djamel Kermali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouloud Hasni, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71st minute, Abdelmoumen Naït Mazi made a precise shot to the right of Bendjedid Chadli. Workington United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bendjedid Chadli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Said Menguellet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Kamel Kourichi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Coombe FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Said Menguellet hit a great ball. Workington United's Mouloud Hasni got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chamseddine Sadmi fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coombe FC's protests and gave Chamseddine Sadmi a yellow card for diving instead.
