The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daoud Abdessalam helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bembridge FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Daoud Abdessalam hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Bembridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Daoud Abdessalam. In the 20th minute Bahnini Merbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahar Ighil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boudjemaa Bencherif was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdelmalek Benzaghou. If Mokdad Benattia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalik Apap hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Akawel Djaout, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 34th minute, Nabil Bella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nawfel Zaaf in the 42nd minute of play forced Melton Mowbray's goalkeeper Boudjemaa Bencherif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tahar Ighil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Brahmi in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Mokdad Benattia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bembridge FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melton Mowbray the free kick. After some careless play in the Bembridge FC defense, Bahnini Merbah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tahar Ighil. The Bembridge FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tahar Ighil should have stopped the shot. The Bembridge FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Melton Mowbray were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahnini Merbah to make the kick off. Noureddine Abbes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match.
