Boudjemaa Bencherif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Belkacem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Hornsea City's Bakki Djachem got control of the ball when Rachid Brahmi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Melton Mowbray's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Belkacem came free, but Boudjemaa Bencherif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rachid Brahmi might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakki Djachem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rachid Brahmi ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Hornsea City's Bakki Djachem got control of the ball when Rachid Brahmi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Adam Zitouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahnini Merbah to make the kick off. Bakki Djachem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahnini Merbah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahnini Merbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bakki Djachem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Adam Zitouni in the 77th minute really tested Boudjemaa Bencherif's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Rachid Brahmi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bakki Djachem was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Sahrane Zeghoudi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Boudjemaa Bencherif to make any attempt to save it. The referee ignored Melton Mowbray's protests and gave Boumedienne Boudjedra a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of Melton Mowbray:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Boudjemaa Bencherif came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Hornsea City's Karim Belkacem. But to his dismay, Karim Belkacem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Hornsea City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
