The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adib Belmellat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Meskine having to make a save. Mohamed Meskine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aberkane Meknassa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Derby AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Liamine Feraoun hit a great ball. Adib Belmellat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Clapham booed when Derby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amellal Tétah didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adib Belmellat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Derby AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amellal Tétah to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Aggur Louahla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derby AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, Clapham's Aberkane Meknassa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohamed Meskine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aberkane Meknassa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clapham's Aberkane Meknassa got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Aberkane Meknassa made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aggur Louahla in the 52nd minute of play forced Clapham's goalkeeper Youssef Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fadel Boulebda kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Bachir Mazigh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aggur Louahla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bachir Mazigh struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Youssef Hamdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derby AFC. Bachir Mazigh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Hamdani having to interfere. Youssef Hamdani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bachir Mazigh in the 85th minute of the match. If Aggur Louahla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89thth minute of the game Bachir Mazigh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clapham's Youssef Hamdani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Farid Zeghdoud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derby AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Derby AFC's zone, Adib Belmellat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Meskine came out of the goal and Adib Belmellat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derby AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
