Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Riad Louahla got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute Madjid Kosbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amri Jeanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Lakhdar Ahmed elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Khelifa Djebar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play, Whitby AFC's Lakhdar Ahmed made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amri Jeanson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Oswaldtwistle AFC booed when Whitby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rochdi Asma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Whitby AFC's zone, Djafar Douadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrir Kourichi came out of the goal and Djafar Douadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Lakhdar Ahmed made a precise shot to the right of Amri Jeanson. Oswaldtwistle AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Adrir Kourichi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Djafar Douadi in the 36th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Whitby AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Adrir Kourichi, was totally fooled by Oswaldtwistle AFC's Zine-Eddine Reda, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lakhdar Ahmed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Amri Jeanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amri Jeanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madjid Kosbi in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Whitby AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lakhdar Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madjid Kosbi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Amri Jeanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whitby AFC. Adrir Kourichi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riad Louahla in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakhdar Ahmed in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amri Jeanson saved Oswaldtwistle AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Oswaldtwistle AFC's Amri Jeanson got control of the ball when Madjid Kosbi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Djafar Douadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrir Kourichi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Whitby AFC's Adrir Kourichi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riad Louahla in the 70th minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Lakhdar Ahmed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oswaldtwistle AFC's Amri Jeanson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Oswaldtwistle AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lakhdar Ahmed came free, but Amri Jeanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Lakhdar Ahmed put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Amri Jeanson. Madjid Kosbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madjid Kosbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Salah Soltani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Djafar Douadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riad Louahla in the 96th minute of play forced Whitby AFC's goalkeeper Adrir Kourichi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Whitby AFC played a much better game than Oswaldtwistle AFC and deserved their victory. The Oswaldtwistle AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
