Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) Newhaven's Salaheddine Mekloufi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Newhaven's Ramdane Ben Bella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazir Béchar in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Yazid Mzali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramdane Ben Bella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nazir Béchar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramdane Ben Bella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cherif Boumedienne in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, St Annes on Sea FC's Cherif Boumedienne got a free kick in the 16th minute. Yazid Mzali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramdane Ben Bella having to make a save. After 26 minutes of play, Newhaven's Faouzi Messayeb made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afaghis Hemdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, St Annes on Sea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salaheddine Mekloufi came free, but Afaghis Hemdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yazid Mzali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramdane Ben Bella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Mzali in the 40th minute of play. Faouzi Messayeb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Afaghis Hemdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yazid Mzali to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Nazir Béchar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newhaven's Ramdane Ben Bella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Afaghis Hemdani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to St Annes on Sea FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Adil Bourbon hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in St Annes on Sea FC's zone, Faouzi Messayeb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afaghis Hemdani came out of the goal and Faouzi Messayeb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afaghis Hemdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salaheddine Mekloufi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Salaheddine Mekloufi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afaghis Hemdani was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, St Annes on Sea FC's Cherif Boumedienne got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Faouzi Messayeb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Afaghis Hemdani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 84 minutes into the game, Adil Bourbon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St Annes on Sea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newhaven the free kick. Adil Bourbon kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Afaghis Hemdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Saci, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazir Béchar in the 89th minute of play forced Newhaven's goalkeeper Ramdane Ben Bella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Mzali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramdane Ben Bella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. During the 98th minute of the match Adil Bourbon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adil Bourbon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Adil Bourbon hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Newhaven's Abdelhani Yenicheri tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The St Annes on Sea FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Newhaven's performance. The match ended with a win for Newhaven.
