After 12 minutes, Adil Bourbon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St Annes on Sea FC and the Timsbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Adil Bourbon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yazid Mzali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazir Béchar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Zeghoudi having to interfere. If Amar Meskouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Timsbury's Afaghis Hemdani threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saadi Abbas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the match, Timsbury's Saadi Abbas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afaghis Hemdani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Mahmoud Belmadi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Yazid Mzali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yazid Mzali in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salah Zeghoudi saved Timsbury from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Timsbury's goalkeeper Salah Zeghoudi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazir Béchar. Saadi Abbas struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Afaghis Hemdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timsbury. St Annes on Sea FC's Adil Bourbon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Timsbury booed when St Annes on Sea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cherif Boumedienne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saadi Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Afaghis Hemdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amar Meskouri in the 89th minute of play forced St Annes on Sea FC's goalkeeper Afaghis Hemdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, St Annes on Sea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adil Bourbon to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes St Annes on Sea FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aissa Zouaoui who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Timsbury's Aissa Zouaoui to fire away a dangerous shot which Afaghis Hemdani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Timsbury fans cheered their team off the field, for while St Annes on Sea FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
